Minister Sridhar Babu said there are vast opportunities in the defence and aerospace sectors, noting that the state already hosts some of the country’s largest hubs in these fields.

He stated that the government is formulating policies to ensure a hassle-free environment for investors, with a focus on attracting investments and strengthening the defence and aerospace ecosystem.

During the ongoing question hour in the Telangana Assembly, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti stated that the government is providing free electricity to over 25 lakh families. Each eligible household receives up to 200 units of electricity at no cost, with the government covering the monthly bills.

Bhatti added that the government has already spent Rs 3,593 crore to ensure these families receive free electricity, highlighting the administration’s commitment to supporting citizens with essential services.

Adilabad’s displaced farmers, affected by various development projects, called for a march to the Telangana Assembly demanding justice for the losses they have suffered. The protest was supported by MLA Payal Shankar, who accompanied the farmers during their march.

However, the demonstration was stopped by police near the Nizam College Hostel. Authorities detained several farmers along with MLA Payal Shankar during the confrontation. The displaced farmers continue to press for compensation and relief for the hardships caused by the projects.
