CM Revanth Reddy Reaffirms Commitment to Telangana
Hyderabad: In a fiery address to the State Assembly, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy issued a stern warning to political opponents on Saturday, stating that while he values decorum, his response to those undermining Telangana’s self-respect would be "final and decisive."
Responding to recent personal attacks, Reddy asserted his loyalty to the state above all else. "How could anyone with Telangana blood ever consider surrendering our water to Andhra Pradesh?" he asked, rejecting allegations that he had compromised the state's interests.
Reddy, referring to himself as a "son of Palamuru" born in the Nallamala forest region, declared the completion of the Palamuru–Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation Project a moral duty. He framed his governance as a strategic fight to turn parched lands fertile and warned that his restraint in the face of criticism should not be mistaken for fear.
