CM Revanth Slams KCR and Harish Rao for Water Betrayal
Hyderabad: In a sharp attack on the opposition, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy alleged that the BRS leadership "surrendered" Telangana's rightful share of Krishna waters by accepting a 299 TMC allocation instead of the entitled 490 TMC.
Reddy targeted former CM K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and former minister T. Harish Rao, questioning why they agreed to a reduced share when government records supported a higher claim. "When the documents clearly state the people’s share, why settle for less?" Reddy asked, metaphorically accusing them of "accepting a small slice of the pie when the full portion belonged to Telangana."
The CM also implicated former Engineer-in-Chief Muralidhar Rao, alleging that he authored the report that capped the state's share at 299 TMC. Reddy vowed to correct this "injustice" by fighting for the legitimate share in all available legal and policy forums.
