Petition in Pak court seeks registration of FIR against Modi amid J&K violence
Lahore: A petition was filed on Friday in a Pakistani court seeking registration of an FIR against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the "killings of innocent Kashmiris".
Advocate Abdul Hameed filed the petition on Friday in the Lahore High Court on the ground that "innocent" people were killed in Kashmir on the "orders" of Modi.

He said the court is requested to order registration of an FIR against Modi under murder and terrorism sections of Pakistan Penal Code and Anti-Terrorism Act.
The petition appears to be a counter to the one filed in an Indian court against Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for "hatching a conspiracy to provoke riots in Jammu and Kashmir".
President of Anti-Terrorist Front of India Viresh Shandilya had filed the petition in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ambala.
