A SIM card that helps you access WhatsApp without Internet

WhatSim connects to more than 400 operators in about 150 countries

As most of us prefer sending messages on WhatsApp as compared to any other messaging scheme by carriers, the app has over 700 million users. Even though WhatsApp is a free app, you still need to pay a huge amount for the Internet data. However, now you can cut down on your Internet expenses and access your WhatsApp without the Internet via WhatSim.

WhatSim is a new SIM card introduced by Manuel Zanella (who is also the CEO of Zeromobile) allows you to send and receive messages only via WhatsApp. The company claims that the WhatSim connects to more than 400 operators in about 150 countries.

The WhatSim card is priced at 10 euro (approximately Rs 714), which allows you to use WhatsApp for a year without spending on Internet data. You can send and receive messages, share locations and contact number via WhatsApp with the help of WhatSim. But in order to send and download multimedia files, users will have to increase the balance on WhatSim, depending on your geographical zone.

On every recharge of 5 euro, WhatSim users will receive 1,000 credits. India falls in Zone 3 need 150 credits for photo, 600 credits to share videos, 30 credits to send voice messages on WhatsApp. The WhatSim can be most beneficial for students and a boon to those areas which have low connectivity.

Manuel Zanella also claimed that he plans to introduce a special version priced at 10 euro of WhatSim for those countries of the world that the UN calls the Global South.
