Disclaimer: Flashing a custom ROM on your Android smartphone is risky and can void the warranty. If wrongly executed, or in case of a power failure while flashing the ROM, the smartphone can be bricked (dead because of missing/corrupted firmware) and you would have to replace the device too. Flashing the ROM to any smartphone needs to be done on a rooted device. Do this if you do not care of the warranty, do not have warranty existing on the device or if you want to experiment with a new firmware. Try flashing the ROM at your own risk. Developers of the ROM, Xiaomi and Deccan Chronicle are not responsible for any issues and damages caused by attempting the above procedure.
