Islamabad: Pakistan Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Wednesday apologized over his ‘skirt’ remarks that he gave on January 13, 2018, during his speech at a conference in Karachi. Justice Mian Saqib Nisar said he had quoted Winston Churchill’s quote.
He had said on January 13: “I was always told, ‘a speech should be like a woman’s skirt. It should not be too long that one loses one’s interest. Neither it should be too short that it doesn’t cover the subject’.”
