'Be very afraid Nawaz Sharif,' PTI mocks Pak PM with Imran Khan's workout video
Lahore: Taking political rivalry to a whole new level, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, on Monday, uploaded a video showing party chief Imran Khan doing some serious work-out in the gym, warning the Pakistan PM to be ‘afraid’.
The video, shows the cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan attempting some strenuous exercises including toe touch crunches, bicycle crunches, side-to-side obliques, knee-ins, and some basic crunches.
Clad in white T-shirt and aqua-marine joggers, Khan definitely throws in some serious fitness goals at the, rather rotund, Prime Minister.
“Kaptaan's lifetime of training for this very decisive moment, it's been a long time coming! Be very afraid Nawaz Sharif,” the post said.
And needless to say, Twitter was as usual divided on the video, with many calling the video and absurd stunt, while others hailed it as an inspiration and others, as is tradition, trolled.

This is not the first time politicians across the border have flaunted their ‘fitness’ though.
According to a recent report in the Dawn, the young and swagalacious Sindh sports minister Sardar Muhammad Bux Khan Mahar recently challenged his Punjab counterpart Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan to do 50 push-ups, ‘well, cause he can’.
