Damascus, Syria: In their latest executions, the Islamic State group released a series of photographs of two spies being crucified and shot in the head, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

The public execution incident is believed to have taken place in Syrian city of al-Raqqah.

The entire incident was captured on camera by ISIS militants and was broadcasted on the terror group's propaganda channel 'Wilayat ar-Raqqah' meaning 'The province of Raqqah.'

Titled 'Harvest of the Spies', the execution shows two men being crucified, before they were brutally shot in the head and killed in front of a huge crowd that included women and children.

The photographs show two spies, dressed in orange suits, being pinned on a cross and ISIS thugs reading out the list of accusations against the prisoners.

After the spies were shot, their bodies were hanged with a paper glued to their body. The paper contained a list of accusations and warnings written in Arabic so as to warn on-lookers about the crime and its consequences.

Recently, the Islamic State group executed 45 of its own fighters, accusing them of cowardice. According to a report, ISIS allegedly killed its fighters by locking them up in a freezer. After the militants died of cold, their bodies were stretched out on the roads as a warning to potential ISIS defectors.
