There is a Chinese handset named Elephone S7 that looks exactly like Samsung’s Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone, and is available at one-fifth the price of Galaxy S7 Edge.
Elephone S7 smartphone is available in two variants, 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch full HD display, both protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass and coated with 3D glass that features a light-reflecting pattern.
Elephone S7 is powered by MediaTek X20 deca-core processor. The smartphone is available in three storage variants: 2GB/ 16GB, 3GB/32GB, and 4GB/64GB. All the models come with microSD card for further expansion. Elephone S7 models feature a 13MP rear sensor and a 5MP front sensor.
Elephone S7 runs on Android Marshmallow, features fingerprint sensor and offers dual-SIM support. However, in terms of battery, the standard version is powered by 2450mAh, while the other model is fuelled by a 3000 mAh battery.
The 2GB Elephone S7 is available at a price of $149 (approx. Rs 10,000), whereas the most expensive variant with 4GB RAM is priced at $240 (approx. Rs 16,000).
