Xiaomi has expanded its Redmi smartphone portfolio with the launch of its Redmi Pro. The new smartphone will come in three variants - Helio X20 (3GB RAM + 32GB storage) at CNY 1,499, Helio X25 (3GB + 64GB) at CNY 1,699, and Helio X25 (4GB + 128GB) at CNY 1,999.
The device comes with some high end features and will ship in Gold, Silver and dark grey colour variants. It sports a 5.5-inch OLED display with a 100 percent NTSC colour gamut and 2.5D curved glass.
It has the speedy MediaTek deca-core Helio X25 processor at its heart paired with 3GB RAM. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, as well as VoLTE support.
Another highlight of the Redmi Pro is the dual camera setup, with a 13MP Sony IMX 258 combined with a 5MP Samsung camera sensor. For selfies the device sports a 5MP front shooter.
The smartphone is juiced by a huge 4050mAh battery and features a hybrid dual SIM slot, with support for a microSD card in place of the second SIM card.
