The micro SD card expansion will be optional for those who want to see a dual SIM variant as the same SIM slot doubles up as SIM+SIM or storage+SIM.

VR is still in its early days, with much of the interest coming from hard-core gamers and tech pioneers.Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, Gear 360 and Gear VR.

To make things exciting, Samsung also unveiled the Gear 360 camera alongside the Galaxy smartphones. The camera is a 30MP (15MP + 15MP) ultra-portable wireless camera that can connect to the Samsung phones and shoot images and videos just like a GoPro camera. But this one is a bit better—two cameras for 360-degree imaging. The Gear 360 has two cameras, each on the opposite end of the device. The Gear 360 supports two modes, using which you could use it for 360-degree photos and videos or regular 180-degree imaging. The Gear 360 connects with the Galaxy smartphones using Wi-Fi Direct and pairs easily with NFC. The f/2.0 camera allows for dish-eye wide angle photos and videos and the 30MP sensor captures 7776x3888 pixel photos when paired together. Each sensor is 15MP each and combine to make a 30MP 360-degree camera. The Gear 360 has a removable 1350mAh battery and sports 1GB of RAM with a micro SD card support for 128GB. It weighs 153g and is just 2.4-inches in size (looks like an eyeball). Additional features include tripod mount and handgrip (included) water resistant body and a tiny display for settings.
