LG G7 new render reveals dual front camera, near bezel-less design

The image reveals that the smartphone will have very thin top and bottom bezels while the sides are almost non-existent.

LG was earlier believed to be getting rid of the G series branding with its upcoming flagship, but it looks like the smartphone will be named LG G7 after all. Unlike Samsung devices, there aren’t many leaks or renders of the G7. But now an alleged render of the device has surfaced that shows that front panel of the device.

The image reveals that the smartphone will have very thin top and bottom bezels while the sides are almost non-existent. The render also suggests a Full Vision 18:9 display which has a higher screen to body ratio than the G6.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor. It will come equipped with dual selfie cameras which can be seen on the left side of the earpiece, while proximity sensor and a LED indicator is on the back. Volume rockers are visible too while the power button is likely to be housed on the rear panel.

Additionally, the G7 is expected to boast Quick Charge 4.0 technology as per LG’s UK website. A chart showed on the support page shows the G5 and G6 with Quick Charge 3.0, and the future G7 is listed as supporting Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 technology.

The company is also rumoured to bring its mobile payment app — LG Wallet to the flagship. The device is also said to incorporate an advanced iris scanner which will not only unlock the device but also help protect the sensitive information of the users.

LG is expected to launch the G7 during MWC 2018 in February, but there reports that indicate that LG might unveil the device in March with shipments beginning in April this year.
