Tecno launches AI powered Camon iAce and iSky in India

The new smartphones come with FullView displays and face unlock capabilities.

Tecno has recently launched two new handsets in the sub 8K price segment named Camon iAce and Camon iSky. The main USP of these handsets is that they come AI-powered cameras. These two new handsets also come with other interesting features namely full-screen HD+ displays, Face Unlock and 3050mAh batteries.

The Tecno Camon iAce is priced in India at Rs 6,799 and it is already available for purchase across India. The higher-end Camon iSky will sell it for Rs 7,499 and will hit shelves on August 20, 2018.

The Tecno Camon iAce comes with a 5.5-inch FullView display and sports an 18:9 aspect ratio. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is loaded with a HiOS custom skin. The handset is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739WW processor and paired with 2GB of RAM. The rear features a single 13MP camera and for selfies, there is an 8MP front-facing camera. Both cameras are assisted by a dual-LED flash and the cameras have an aperture value of F/2.0. To unlock this handset, Tecno has added the Face Unlock feature. This smartphone comes with 16GB of onboard storage and can be expanded upon to a further 128GB by using a microSD card. The handset is powered by a 3050mAh. The Camon iAce is available in Champagne Gold, Midnight Black and Midnight Blue colour variants.

The Tecno Camon iSky comes with similar specifications as its lower-priced sibling and one of the differences found here is a dual-rear camera setup. The cameras on the back are rated at 13MP and 0.3MP and are backed by a dual-LED flash. Another major difference found here is that apart from Face Unlock, the Camon iSky comes with a fingerprint sensor on the rear.

Tecno Camon iACE and Camon iSKY2 users on Jio would be entitled to get an instant cashback of Rs 2,200 on Rs 198/ Rs.299 prepaid recharge.
