Apple's iPhone 7 to sport a bigger battery

Apple's flagship iPhone 7 is expected to be unveiled in September.

A number of rumours and speculations are being reported around Apple’s forthcoming flagship, the iPhone 7. While many reports are based on the size, display and camera, some also speak on the colour variants and headphone jack. Another report coming in from the Chinese media speculates three variants of the iPhone, their pricings and the battery.

Apple’s next flagship, the iPhone 7 will have slightly bigger battery than its predecessor, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, according to Chinese website, Weibo. The website claimed that the iPhone 7 will sport a 1735mAh battery, while the iPhone 7 Plus will be backed by a 2810mAh battery, up from the current iPhone 6s’s 1715mAh and iPhone 6s Plus’s 2750mAh.

In addition, the website also revealed the pricing of the iPhone 7 models will be available in three different variants based on its RAM. The three iPhones will include iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone 7 Pro.

As for the report, the iPhone 7, the 32GB version could be priced at Rs 53,000, the 64GB at Rs 61,000, and the 256GB at Rs 70,000. The iPhone 7 Plus 32GB version could be priced at Rs 61,000, 64GB at Rs 69,000, and 256GB at Rs 79,000. Lastly, the iPhone7 Pro 32GB would be priced at Rs 71,000, 64GB at Rs 79,000, and 256GB at Rs 89,000.

However, Apple has not yet commented on any of these rumours. More information will be revealed closer to the launch, expected to be slated in September.
