Chinese smartphone giant, Xiaomi seems to gearing up to unveil the next generation of its Mi 5 smartphone. An image of the Mi 5s was spotted online revealing complete specs of the smartphone.
The most noticeable upgrade is the integration of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. The Mi 5 packed a Snapdragon 820 CPU at its heart. The new variant will be backed by 6GB of RAM and is tipped to pack a whopping 256GB internal storage.
The smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch full HD display and will have the iPhone like 3D touch feature. It will offer dual SIM functionalities and will have support for NFC.
The device is expected to feature a 16MP rear camera that will be capable of shooting 4K videos. It will also boast a 4MP front facing camera. The Mi 5s will be juiced by a massive 3490mAh battery and will support GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G, and VoLTE. Xioami is yet to make any announcement about the smartphone.
Xiaomi is expected to unveil its next iteration of the Mi Note soon. Latest leaks suggest a launch date for the smartphone. It the rumours are to be believed the Mi Note2 will be launched on September 14. The smartphone is expected to feature a 5.7-inch display powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and will be equipped with a 13MP rear camera.
