According to reports, Microsoft dropped Lumia from their Microsoft Store front page.
Microsoft has also said on several occasions that it plans on working with partners to help them bring more devices to the market.
There have been speculations about how Microsoft isn’t planning a new Lumia phone, for quite some time now. Even Microsoft seems to be dropping hints that they are, in fact, done with the line-up.
The company reportedly dropped the Lumia phone category from the store page entirely. The link which initially took visitors to the Lumia phone lineup, now takes them to the Education store instead. However, one can still purchase Lumia phones from the Microsoft’s Devices section.
Microsoft has also said on several occasions that it plans on working with partners to help them bring more devices to the market. Perhaps, they are only clearing the space for something more exciting to arrive? Only time will tell.
