Tim Cook must go, new Steve Jobs needed: analyst

Analyst Doug Kass boldly declared that Tim Cook is no Steve Jobs.

Mumbai: Apple recently has faced a lot of criticism for its declining iPhone sales. Although Apple sold more than 51 million iPhones in the first three months of this year, Apple reported its first ever drop in quarterly since 2003.

Studying Apple’s declining graphs, analysts believe that Tim Cook lacks innovative vision needed to bring the company back in competition and that they now need a new Steve Jobs-like CEO.

As analyst Bob Lefsetz told BGR, “Tim Cook needs to be replaced. Apple doesn’t need a traffic cop, it needs a visionary. Execution is important, but it’s secondary to inspiration. The idea is king, never forget it.”

Another analyst Doug Kass boldly declared that Tim Cook is no Steve Jobs, and that iPhone 6 “was likely Apple’s last important product upgrade, and the company seems unlikely to ever repeat that success.”

However, not every analyst thinks the same way. According to David Einhorn, Apple brand has a “tremendous value”. His statement was followed by Tim Cook announcing that iPhone 7 will feature technology that can change our lives.

Apple’s next big smartphone, the iPhone 7 is projected to be launched in September.
