Check out Jelly, world's smallest Android phone with Nougat

A Kickstarter project involves building a mini-sized phone that runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and supports 4G network.

World’s smallest 4G smartphone is being developed, thanks to Unihertz’s Kickstarter campaign. The smartphone, dubbed Jelly measures a 2.45-inch LCD display and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. Jelly is available in three colours: Pearl White, Space Black and Sky Blue.

Jelly is available in two options: 1GB of RAM/8GB of ROM and 2GB of RAM/16GB of ROM. The smartphone packs a 2MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera and is further powered by a quad-core 1.1GHz processor. The device further packs a 950mAh battery and is available for a price of $59.

“As smartphones have gotten bigger and more powerful, they have become cumbersome for activities such as running or working out. With Jelly, your workout is much easier. In fact, it’s such a popular use for Jelly that we designed a comfortable armband mount for sports and exercise,” the company writes.

The Kickstarter campaign has already surpassed its pledged amount of $30,000 and reached 684 backers, while still having 34 days to go.
