Motorola introduces two additional Moto Mods for its Moto Z series

The first mod is a juice pack from Mophie with 3,000mAh power cell, the second is an in-car dock.

Motorola recently release two new Moto Mods – a Mophie Juice Pack battery and a car dock from Incipio for its Moto Z series of handset.

The Mophie Juice Pack comes with a 3,000mAh battery and is said to provide 60 per cent more battery life than the original device battery pack. According to a report published by The Verge, it also has a status indicator light and a USB Type-C port and costs $79.99 (approximately Rs 5465).

On the other hand, Incipio is a Car Dock that provides a way to mount a Moto Z in a car. Users can charge their devices and connect it to their car’s audio systems via the 3.5mm output. The dock clips into the car’s air conditioning vent as well. When the phone is docked, it will automatically launch Android Auto to provide a safer interface to use while driving. It costs $64.99 (approximately Rs 4,440).

Motorola hasn’t said anything about when the Mods will be shipped but they did mention that they intend to release an average of four new mods per quarter through 2017.
