South Korea’s LG is reportedly working on a ‘mini’ version of its latest release LG G6 smartphone.

According to a report published on Techbuffalo, LG is planning to launch a smaller version of the G6 smartphone featuring 5.4-inch display with a screen-to-body ratio of 80 per cent.

The original LG G6 variant sport 5.7-inch Quad HD + full vision display.

Similar to the original LG G6 model, the smaller version will retain 18:9 aspect ratio, according to the report.

Other aspects, including features, more specification and pricing of the newer version is yet unknown.

However, the model is speculated to adopt similar features as sported in the flagship model and would cost below Rs 50,000.

To recall, LG G6 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, coupled with 4GB RAM, offering 32GB/64GB storage option, with additional expandable storage of up to 2TB. Powered by a non-removable 3300mAh battery, it sports a dual-camera setup with one 13MP sensor for wide angle and one 13MP sensor for regular shots, and a 5MP front camera. The smartphone comes in three colour variants--White, Black and Platinum.
