Panasonic introduces Arbo, company's first AI assistant

Arbo works like any other AI assistant.

Panasonic at a launch event in Delhi on 27 March introduced the company’s first artificial intelligence-based assistant in its two smartphones: Eluga Ray Max and Eluga Ray X. The AI-powered Eluga Ray Max is priced at Rs 11,499 and the Eluga Ray X is priced at Rs 12,499.

Arbo works like any other AI assistant. It also has a ‘location identification’ feature wherein it recognises places that users can visit. It further keeps a track of the apps running in the smartphone.

While the Panasonic Eluga Ray Max features a 5.2-inch IPS full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, the Eluga Ray X packs a 5.5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS display. The former is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.4GHz along with 4GB of RAM and the latter is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with 3GB of RAM. The smartphones are powered by a 3,000mAh and 4,000mAh battery respectively.
