527 Galaxy Note 7 owners seeks compensation in S.Korea

Consumers are requesting Samsung to compensate them for the costs to visit shops to handover Note 7.

A total of 527 Galaxy Note 7 consumers, in South Korea alone, are seeking compensation from Samsung Electronics after it announced to recall Galaxy Note 7 handsets.

According to a report by SamMobile, consumers are requesting Samsung to compensate them for the costs to visit shops to handover and exchange the handset.

An attorney named Peter Young-Yeel Ko in Korea revealed around 527 customers have requested for compensation. In an estimate, about 500,000 won (approx. 30,000) per person have been asked to compensate in return of Note 7, which makes up to a total of 263,500,00 won ( approx. over 1crore) to be compensated by Samsung.
