Every year, Google announces the best apps available on the Android platform from the last year. The apps are evaluated on the basis of their relevance, innovation and user-friendliness. On the third and final day of Google I/O 2017 conference, the Google Play Awards for 2017 were announced.
The nominations for this year’s awards were announced last month. Out of that, 57 apps made it to the finals across 12 categories. In the end, the best 12 were awarded the title of the app an Android user should try this year for sure.
