Microsoft plans to get Pokemon Go, Snapchat on Windows Phone

The game is now officially available in 27 countries.

Pokemon Go, an augmented reality game was launched just over a week. Since its release in US, Australia and New Zealand, the game has set several new records on the Apple’s App store.

While this free-to-download game is available on both iOS and Android platform, it’s not supported by Windows smartphones.

However, according to Winbeta’s source, Microsoft is looking into an option to make Pokemon Go available on Window’s smartphones as well.

Early this week, more than 50,000 Window’s users requested Niantic, who has co-created Pokemon Go, to bring the game on their platform in a petition filed 10 months ago.

In response, Microsoft said, ‘We have received an overwhelming amount of feedback requesting that the Store provide this application. The Windows Store team is looking into options with regard to the best way to fulfill this request. We keep you advised on any updates.’

Apart from it, Microsoft is also planning to launch Snapchat on its Window’s platform.
