Netflix gets abused on Twitter, replies with hilarious answer

Netflix is an online video streaming service which offers movies and TV shows.

Netflix, the most famous online media streaming service, recently debuted in India. With a host of TV shows and movies, Netflix plans to be in every home as an entertainment option. At present, they are offering their services for free for the first month, and thereafter, the service fees will start at Rs 650. All you need to do is register yourself and avail the free one month offer. To avail the free option, you need to use a credit card or a debit card, to make future payments. The details are also required as an age proof to check if you are over 18 years old. They started a new campaign with a hashtag #LifeWithoutNetflix to promote the new service.

However, an unknown man who goes by the name of BA Pass on Twitter (@Fivepm) was unable to pay for the service using his credit card details online. He decided to take on the company on social media, with an abusing tweet. The reason was simply because he could not use any Indian credit or debit card to make the payments. Only international cards were being accepted.

The tweet was picked up by Netflix India and they replied in a very casual way, including the same ‘cool’ language the man used.

The tweet and the response was so hilarious that it got more traction on social media than Netflix’s own original tweet.
