Pune: Two car makers Kia and the MG Motor on Friday introduced the Sonet and the Astor SUV facelifts respectively.
The Sonet is priced in the Rs.7.99 lakh- Rs.15.69 lakh bracket. Kia has given the Sonet mild cosmetic changes and feature additions. The Sonet compact SUV is sold in 19 variants with petrol and diesel engine options, including automatic.
“We are once again premiumisng the compact SUV segment by introducing the new Sonet,” said Myung-sik Sohn, chief sales and business strategy officer, at Kia India.
MG Motor has rejigged the Astor SUV’s line-up, with a new entry-level Sprint variant. The Astor SUV starts at Rs.9.98 lakh at the Delhi showroom. It comes in five trims.

Astor is the first SUV in India to get a personal AI assistant and 14 autonomous level 2 features powered by radars and a multi-purpose camera that can realise a series of advanced driver-assistance systems features.
