Apple brings back i' to iOS with latest update

The latest iOS 11.1.1 update fixes the autocorrect i'bug that some users were experiencing on their iPhones and iPads.

Apple’s iOS 11 update hasn’t seen a peaceful life in its first two months of existence. The operating system that powers premium iPhones and iPads around the world has been riddled with a huge number of annoying bugs. One of those annoying bugs was the auto-correction of the letter ‘i’ into the characters ‘A’ and a question mark. Apple’s latest update has fixed that bug.

Apple was aware of the issue and until it figured out a fix for the problem, they had issued a temporary workaround for this issue. They asked users to set up a text replacement for the letter ‘i’ from the keyboard settings. Apple, however, promises that the latest iOS 11.1.1 update has fixed the issue and users need not worry about this problem.

The update also fixes an issue where the ‘Hey Siri’ call sign stopped working for some iPhone users. This issue was present on all iPhones starting from the iPhone SE and going up to the iPhone X. If you haven’t updated your iOS device yet, then head over to Software Update from Settings. You can also update the same from iTunes.
