Haier has announced the launch of the first ever Double Drum washing machine in India. The Haier DUO-Gemini is the world’s first dual-drum washing machine which comes equipped with two front-load washing drums placed on top of each other.
The DUO-Gemini features a premium design and the two washing drums in the machine help in catering to different laundry needs, making the process more efficient and reducing laundry time.
The Haier DUO-Gemini can hold up to 4 kgs of clothes in the upper drum, whereas the lower drum can accommodate laundry up to 8 kgs. The consumer benefit of the new Haier DUO-Gemini is to allow users to address their laundry needs basis the colour, fabric or other special requirements.
Haier DUO-Gemini comes equipped with Dual Star Balance System which keeps the drums steady & silent (70dB on a spin) and Dual Smart Driving Force System which helps in maintaining separate frequency conversion for motors for a precise control to wash clothes together or separately.
The machine packs in other features that make it a valuable addition to a contemporary household such as the 1 touch LED screen for complete control through a digital panel. 6 water inlet system enables pure and clean washing while preventing water from one drum to enter the other. It also comes equipped with 30 customizable programming options (12 in upper drum + 18 in lower drum).
Haier DUO-Gemini features Wi-Fi connectivity with smartphones and tablets, letting users keep track of the washing process, water inflow/outflow and washing functions of the machine. It is also armed with an Antibacterial Function with a bacteria removal rate of over 99.8 per cent.
The machine helps in saving around 30 per cent of energy and water. It also has anti-stain feature and night wash feature. Additionally, the Haier DUO-Gemini washing machine comes with a life time warranty.
