Qualcomm is considering employing Snapdragon 835 processor in a Windows 10 PC, set to be launched by the end of 2017. The company’s plan was revealed during the ongoing technology show IFA 2017 in Berlin. “Stay tuned to learn more about how Windows PCs powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile PC Platform are delivering breakthrough user experiences,” Qualcomm said during the event.

Chipmaker Qualcomm and Microsoft has long-been known to be in talks to bring an ARM-powered Window PC, however, there no developments regarding the project has surfaced so far.

And yet, Qualcomm hasn’t disclosed details regarding the model, but it did share that the launch will happen in Q4 2017.

“This collaboration offers consumers something news and that they have been craving — the best of mobile computing experience with the best of Windows 10, all in one thin, light, connected device,” Qualcomm and Microsoft had said last year.
