Speed machine: A racer to look out for

The 26-year-old racer, who is also an entrepreneur, wants to be a part of as many international races as possible.

Anindith Reddy made Hyderabad proud by winning the Euro JK 16 single-seater category in the JK Tyre National Racing Championship earlier this year, where he made a clean sweep by winning all four races. Anindith has made rapid strides in the domestic circuit despite the lack of karting background.

Talking about his victories this year, Anindith says, “This year has been phenomenal for me. I did more racing this year as compared to any other year. Also, I have learnt a lot, there is a big change in how I used to drive earlier and how I drive now. I also drove my first international race this year. So, there were a lot of firsts and all of it was fantastic.”

He adds, “Winning JK Tyre National Racing Championship was huge, because I never thought I would be driving there. I won it against racers who have been taking part in it for years.”

The 26-year-old racer, who is also an entrepreneur, wants to be a part of as many international races as possible.

“The racing season just got over. For the next season, I want to have a few options, like Formula 4 South-East Asia, Formula 4 UAE and LMP3 in Europe. These are a few races I am really looking forward to. But for LMP3, I will have to live in Europe, which might be a little difficult for me at this point of time, as I manage two start-ups and my family business as well. So, the next year is going to be very challenging for me,” he concludes.
