The Hyderabad District Basketball Association is conducting a championship-cum-selection trials at Secunderabad YMCA on April 17 to pick the Hyderabad boys team which will participate in the 3rd Telangana State Junior Inter-District Championship which is scheduled to be held in May. The registration of players will take place on the same date from 4 pm onwards. Interested players should be residents of Hyderabad and also produce their proof of residence (Aadhar Card or any other Government proof).
The players should be born on or after 1.1.1999 and should provide their Date of Birth certificate or Passport/ original SSC certificate which will only be considered to verify the age of the player. A total of 72 players will be selected during the trials and will be divided into six teams which will play on a round-robin basis at the YMCA Secunderabad from April 24 to 28 for the Thakur Abhinay Singh Memorial Cup. The matches will be played under floodlights and the composition of the teams will be decided by the identified coaches of each of the six teams.
