Mumbai: West Indies cricket star Chris Gayle’s liking for India is known by his trustworthy service for Royal Challengers Bangalore in Indian Premier League (IPL) but many weren’t aware of his love for a Bollywood star.
Recently, Gayle declared his love for Bollywood and actor Amitabh Bachchan.
The Caribbean gifted his Spartan bat (autographed) to the superstar of the Indian film industry. The 73-year-old was surprised that Gayle knows him.
“Mr Chris Gayle...what an honour…I never knew you would know me… so humbled …we are all great fans of yours !” tweeted Bachchan.

Gayle acknowledged his message and said: “See you soon in India."
The 36-year-old set eyeballs rolling in the beginning of the year after the 'Dont blush baby' interview with TV reporter Mel McLaughlin during Big Bash League in Australia.
Gayle's love for Indian films came to the forefront once he said a dialogue of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal.
