IND 102/4; Kohli 37 (32), Dhoni 6 (4)

15th over: A welcome boundary for India, first one for Dhoni. Now, Kohli has a partner who can run in hard with him. The required rate is around 11 an over.

IND 94/4; Kohli 35 (30), Dhoni 0

14th over: Yuvraj is again struggling, why isn't he retiring? India is missing out on important ones and twos since he isn't able to run the cheeky ones. WICKET! And that's the end of Yuvraj (21). A brilliant catch by Watson off Faulkner.

IND 89/3; Kohli 32 (27), Yuvraj 19 (15)

IND 80/3; Kohli 30 (24), Yuvraj 13 (12)

IND 68/3; Kohli 20 (20), Yuvraj 11 (10)

11th over: Adam Zampa brought into the attack. Only three runs off the over.

IND 65/3; Kohli 19 (17), Yuvraj 9 (7)

10th over: Yuvraj has injured his ankle and is limping. There is still no runner for him. Glenn Maxwell is the new bowler. Kohli doesn't seem to be happy with the situation and is not looking at Yuvraj. The twos are being restricted to singles.

IND 59/3; Kohli 16 (14), Yuvraj 7 (5)

9th over: A slip in place, forward short leg - Aussies are sending a strong message to Yuvraj who stole a boundary off the first ball. Oh boy! Yuvraj seems to have injured himself, he limped to complete a run.

IND 50/3; Kohli 13 (11), Yuvraj 1 (1)

8th over: WICKET! That's the second one for Watson, Raina (10) edges it to Nevill behind the stumps. What a spell for the Aussie!

IND 45/2; Kohli 12 (9), Raina 7 (4)

7th over: James Faulkner starts his spell, India need to watch out for his slower delivery. He picked up five wickets the other day against Pakistan. Raina is trying to settle down with singles, good cricket by the southpaw. In the air, but safe, the ball races away to the boundary, lucky Raina.

IND 37/2; Kohli 11 (6), Raina 0 (1)

6th over: Shane Watson is the first change bowler for Australia. An experienced customer, he will be looking to end on a high. The veteran announced retirement recently, this T20 World Cup is his last. Kohli is looking for singles. OUT! A slower one from Watson and that's the end of Rohit (12). BOWLED!

IND 34/1; Rohit 11 (14), Kohli 9 (4)

IND 18/0; Dhawan 13 (9), Rohit 4 (9)

3rd over: First six for India, Dhawan stands and pulls Hazlewood for a six off the leg side. But India need to score at a brisk rate considering the pitch may not be as flat towards the end of the innings.

IND 9/0; Dhawan 6 (4), Rohit 3 (8)

2nd over: Two off Coulter-Nile's over, good start from the bowler. Rohit almost pulled the third ball to the boundary but the Australian fielders are well spread out.

IND 7/0; Dhawan 5 (3), Rohit 2 (3)

1st over: Dhawan opens the account with a boundary, he looks confident. India off to a decent start here. Josh Hazlewood is steaming in with the new ball.

Australia innings

AUS 160/6; Nevill 10 (2), Watson 18 (16)

20th over: Pandya removes Faulkner (10), caught by Kohli at deep. Nevill and Watson slam two boundaries back to back and that's 150 up for Australia. One six off the last ball and this looks like a good total.

AUS 145/5; Watson 13 (13), Faulkner 10 (9)

19th over: Bumrah looks for the yorker, ends up bowling a full toss. The Aussies are running in hard. Watson played a blinder (21-ball 44 not out) against Pakistan the other day at the same venue.

AUS 136/5; Watson 11 (11), Faulkner 3 (5)

18th over: Nehra is bringing his experience into play. Only three runs off the first five balls. Very clever bowling from the veteran. Nehra finishes his spell (1/20).

AUS 132/5; Faulkner 1 (1), Watson 9 (9)

17th over: Bumrah's delivery kisses Maxwell's (31) stumps. India back in the game. It was a slower delivery which Maxwell failed to read.

AUS 129/4; Maxwell 31 (26), Watson 7 (6)

16th over: Jadeja - the most economical bowler so far - is looking for a wicket here. Both Watson and Maxwell can be dangerous in the death overs. Sweep shot by Maxwell for four runs. WOW! Maxwell reverse sweeps Jadeja for a six.

AUS 114/4; Maxwell 19 (22), Watson 6 (4)

15th over: Pandya bowls short to Watson and boom - the ball races away to the boundary. Watson - who announced retirement after the end of the tournament - could well be playing his last T20 innings. On the other end, Maxwell has been quiet so far.

AUS 104/4; Maxwell 16 (19), Watson 0

14th over: With the pitch assisting spinners, Dhoni continues with Yuvraj. Shane Watson is the new batsman. Only four runs off the over.

AUS 100/4; Maxwell 13 (14), Watson 0

13th over: And that's 100 up for Australia. Finch moves to 43 with a boundary. WICKET! This is the same bowl Pandya bowled to Mushfiqur Rahim the other night, caught by Dhawan at deep. Australia lose their man in form for 43 off 34.

AUS 93/3; Finch 37 (29), Maxwell 12 (13)

12th over: Brilliant piece of fielding by Raina to keep off the boundary. Yuvraj is having a good spell here. There has been no boundary since 27 minutes now.

AUS 85/3; Finch 35 (26), Maxwell 6 (9)

11th over: Pandya, India's hero against Bangladesh, starts interestingly with a bouncer and a one that kept low. Australia seemed to have done their homework well here. The hosts have managed to reduce the run rate from 10 to 7.

AUS 81/3; Finch 34 (26), Maxwell 3 (4)

10th over: Yuvraj Singh first ball first wicket and the man is Steve Smith (2), caught behind Dhoni. Seven runs off the over.

AUS 74/2; Finch 32 (24), Smith 2 (5)

9th over: Jadeja is keeping it tight, only one off the over in the first four balls. Is the pitch breaking? A very good over for India. If the pitch remains as it is, it could be the perfect stage for Rohit Sharma-Shikhar Dhawan's comeback.

AUS 73/2; Finch 32 (22), Smith 1 (1)

8th over: Finch has been impeccable so far, he is using his feet coupled with power to get the much needed runs. Ashwin is back into the attack. WICKET! Another stumping effort by Dhoni. Ashwin beats Warner (6) and the skipper takes the bails off.

AUS 64/1; Finch 26 (19), Warner 5 (7)

7th over: Tight start by Jadeja, only five off the over. India need to get wickets to restrict the Aussies within 150.

AUS 59/1; Finch 24 (16), Warner 2 (4)

6th over: Finch is hitting the ball very hard here but failing to clear the fielders. Three balls left for power play, will he go for the aerial route? This is turning out to be a good over for Bumrah.

AUS 55/1; Finch 22 (12), Warner 1 (2)

5th over: Finch chips and the ball is in the air, oh boy! falls short of Raina. WICKET! Nehra snatches an edge off the dangerous Khawaja, Dhoni makes no mistake behind the wicket. He departs for 26 off 16 balls. David Warner walks out to bat.

AUS 53/0; Khawaja 26 (15), Finch 21 (9)

4th over: Ashwin introduced into the attack and Finch welcomes him with two consecutive sixes. Under pressure, the spinner bowls a wide delivery which races away to the boundary for five runs. Ashwin concedes 22 runs in his first over, Australia bring up their 50.

AUS 31/0; Khawaja 25 (14), Finch 6 (4)

3rd over: Nehra gives Finch room on the off side and the right-hander smashes it away for a four. Khawaja steps out and another boundary for the southpaw.

AUS 21/0; Khawaja 20 (11), Finch 1 (1)

2nd over: Khawaja is dealing in boundaries here, he is very strong on the leg-side. Three boundaries in a row. Bumrah feeling the heat. Oh boy! Dhoni changes the field but Khawaja steals his fourth boundary slicing it through the third man area.

AUS 4/0; Khawaja 4 (6), Finch 0

1st over: Usman Khawaja flicks the first ball of the innings for a boundary. Ashish Nehra makes a comeback with four dot balls, he is generating good swing from the conditions.

Both India and Australia have not tinkered with their combination.

"We need to pull ourselves. Even if we can achieve 85 per cent, it will do good," he added.

Australia skipper Steve Smith won the toss and elected to bat. The wicket looks like a good batting track. "I would have batted too," said India skipper MS Dhoni after losing the toss.

The team has left the hotel a bit early today.

Yuvraj Singh turned the heat on the Kangaroos in ICC World Twenty20 in 2007 and 2011. But Australia beat India in the semifinal of ICC World Cup 2015.

These two teams have been traditional rivals in world cricket ever since the ICC World Cup final in 2003 when Ricky Ponting led the mighty Aussies to their third world title beating India in the final.
