Shoaib Malik said that though Indian have the winning momentum, Pakistan could give a tough fight to their old rivals.

Dhaka: India and Pakistan will lock horns in the highly anticipated Asia Cup on Saturday at the Shere Bangla National stadium in Mirpur.

Pakistani all-rounder Shoaib Malik said that though Indian have the winning momentum, Pakistan could give a tough fight to their old rivals.

Indian batsmen are very consistent but we have a good bowling attack. This is going to be a great game. This is going to be a big opportunity for players of both the teams," Malik told a leading Hindi news channel.

The veteran all-rounder also believes that recently concluded Pakistan Super League (PSL), which grabbed many eyeballs might also help Pakistan players.

Coming after playing the PSL straightaway, our preparation has been very good. There's no doubt India have performed very well in Australia and even versus Bangladesh, I think it will be a great battle between two good teams," Malik added.

We maintain the same status. She supports Team India and wants her husband to do well, perform well in the middle if he is playing," he added.

Sania and Martina Hingis lost for the first time in 41 matches at the Qatar Open on Thursday. They went down 2-6, 6-4, 10-5 to Russian pair Elena Vesnina and Daria Kasatkina in the quarterfinals.
