New Delhi: Ahead of Ashish Nehra’s farewell match against New Zealand in the first T20 here at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Wednesday, some of the Team India  cricketers wished the speedster the best for future.

In a video posted by BCCI on Indian Cricket Team’s Facebook page, current members like Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Dinesh Karthik, Shikhar Dhawan among others are seen sharing some of their favourite moments watching Nehra, and even playing with him.

Shikhar Dhawan, in the video, shares about the good times he has had with the 38-year-old Nehra. “He has a really contagious sense of humor and I always enjoy his company. Not only in cricket but even after it gets over and we will have a good time,” he says.

Pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar also shared his thoughts. “When we see a guy age 38 giving his all both on and off the field it is a big motivation,” he says in the video.

Virat Kohli and co will take on Kane Williamson’s New Zealand in the first of the three T20s here, as Ashish Nehra gets ready to play for India for one last time.
