With nine successful launches this year, Isro is planning more next year.

Nellore: With nine successful launches this year, Isro is planning more next year. Isro will fly the GSLV-MK III on January 20. Several critical tests pertaining to GSLV-MK III have been carried out successfully at Liquid Propulsion System Centre at Mahendragiri in Tamil Nadu, according to Mr Somanadh, director of the centre.

Isro is gearing to launch Chandrayaan II before the end of 2017 or in the first quarter of January 2018. Isro senior scientist Dr M. Annadurai said12 more satellites were lined up for launch in 2017, including GSAT-19, GSAT-9, GSAT 11, GSAT17, Cartosat and two nano satellites.
