TRS is my main enemy, says Nagam Janardhan Reddy

He alleged that TRS leaders had swindled Rs 50 crore Mission Bhagiratha funds.

Hyderabad: Former minister Nagam Janardhan Reddy said that he had joined the Congress to expose the alleged corruption of TRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. He alleged that TRS leaders had swindled Rs 50 crore Mission Bhagiratha funds.

Speaking to mediapersons for the first time at Gandhi Bhavan on Wednesday, after joining the Congress in the presence of AICC president Rahul Gandhi, Dr Reddy said the high command would decide from where he would contest the elections.

He said that he did not join the Congress for a ticket or a seat. He said he had no differences with anyone in the party, and would work with Congress MLA Damodar Reddy who had opposed his entry into the Congress. He said the TRS was his political enemy. Dr Reddy said waiving Rs 2 lakh farmer loans might not be possible for the Chief Minister but the Congress would implement it.
