Prabhakar dares KTR to open debate

HYDERABAD: BJP state vice-president N.V.S.S. Prabhakar said that the Cherlapally railway terminal would be developed on available land and would be ready by December.

Speaking to mediapersons, he alleged that the BRS government was leveling baseless allegations of non-cooperation against the Modi government. The Centre had asked for 100 acres for the development of the Cherlapally terminal which the BRS government did not give.

He alleged that the most inefficient and corrupt minister in the Chandrashekar Rao was his son K.T. Rama Rao who, in the name of development was amassing assets.

The BJP leader accused Rama Rao of using official meetings for BRS publicity and cited the instance of the inauguration of the Uppal skywalk. He said that locals sat on a protest over the government not fulfilling its promises, which delayed the minister’s arrival by two hours.

Prabhakar said Rama Rao had ignored many promises, and challenged the minister to a debate on how many lakes his department had beatified. Rama Rao had adopted Ramanthapur ahead of the GHMC polls but the area had seen no progress.

He said the government had overseen Ashok Leyland, Modern Bakery and Penguin Textiles vacating their land. “In the name of development visit, the minister amassed assets,” he alleged.
