Maintain political decorum: Tamilisai Soundararajan to EVKS Elangovan

Chennai: BJP state president Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan has warned TNCC chief E. V. K. S. Elangovan of stooping down to criticise women leaders. He must maintain political decorum, she added.

“Elangovan is an habitual offender. His scathing remarks against the integrity of women are disturbing. It shows his perverted mindset,” she said while campaigning in Virugambakkam Assembly constituency from where she is contesting. She alleged that Elangovan had been repeatedly making derogatory remarks against women leaders in the state including Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa and herself.

“He has been talking ill of his own party member Vijayadharini too. He should refrain from making such statements and learn to respect women leaders,” she said. Dr Tamilisai claimed that people wanted a change of rule at state level and that the BJP would provide it. “We are confident of a good show in elections,” she added.
