Siddaramaiah confident of Congress LS win in Karnataka

Hubballi: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has expressed confidence in the Congress party's prospects in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, regardless of any potential alliance between the BJP and JD(S).

Although no official confirmation has been made, speculations are rife about a potential alliance between BJP and JD(S) in Karnataka.

Replying to a question at Hubballi, Siddaramaiah emphasized that Congress is not daunted by any such alliances.

"They (JD(S) and BJP) may be engaged in discussions, but whether they forge an alliance or not, we are not worried. We are confident that this time, in the Parliament Election, we will secure 15-20 seats," he asserted.

Meanwhile, Siddaramaiah issued a stern warning to those who seek money during registration of Gruha Lakshmi Project.

"If there are any complaints backed by evidence of anybody demanding money for Gruha Lakshmi Project registration, we will take stringent action and book criminal cases against them," he added.
