“With the objective of cornering the Ashok Gehlot government for its failure on every front of governance, the BJP central leaders will now be regularly visiting the state. The visit of Mr Nadda, Mr Singh and Mr Shah at the end of June is just the beginning of it all,” party sources said.

It has been learnt that in the coming months, Mr Modi will visit different parts of the state before the Assembly polls to inaugurate or lay the foundation of several developments. In the coming months before the announcement of the poll schedule, the Prime Minister will dedicate several projects related to health, rail and road infrastructure, education n Turn to Page 4 and other various Union government welfare projects in the state,” a party insider said.

With an eye on the year-end Assembly polls, the BJP has actively started targeting the Gehlot-led state government on local issues, including corruption, law and order, atrocities against women and other issues to highlight the misrule.

“The visit by the BJP’s central leaders will be aimed at accelerating the momentum and also raising the morale of the cadre. It also helps in keeping a check on factionalism in the party,” the source said.

Apart from the visits of the central leaders, the Rajasthan BJP, is also going to start various campaigns to expose the failure of the Gehlot government.
