Modi's Planned Visit to Nizamabad Postponed, Mahbubnagar Address Confirmed

NIZAMABAD: The proposed visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Nizamabad district is postponed, party sources revealed. Ahead of the Assembly elections, the saffron party was planning to conduct a massive public meeting in Nizamabad. Later, it was decided to keep the meeting confined to Mahbubnagar district only.

However, Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind met Union home minister Amit Shah and urged for Narendra Modi’s visit to Nizamabad.

BJP party sources believed that Modi would address public meetings in Mahbubnagar and Nizamabad respectively on October 1. But for unknown reasons, Nizamabad meeting got postponed. PM will arrive Telangana on September 30 and address the meeting in Mahbubnagar on October 1, according to the sources.

Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, BJP state secretary Palle Ganga Reddy said that they have information that Modi would visit Nizamabad on October 3. “Party high command will confirm the visit of Modi soon,” he said.
