HYDERABAD: Noted Telangana folk singer Epuri Somanna met BRS working president K.T.Rama Rao here on Friday and expressed his desire to join the ruling party.
Somanna had played a key role in statehood agitation, mobilising the people with his folk songs. After the formation of Telangana state in 2014, Somanna joined the Congress before shifting to the YSRTP in March 2021.
