Hyderabad: Telangana Congress president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Wednesday reiterated that the Congress was the only alternative to the TRS and that there was no scope for the BJP’s growth in Telangana.
Mr Reddy also expressed confidence that the Congress would bounce back to power in 2023 Assembly elections.
Addressing the Congress workers meeting on Wednesday at Devarakonda, Mr Reddy said that the BJP government did nothing for Telangana in the last five years.
He said that the BJP did not fulfil the promises made with Telangana by the Congress government in the AP Reorganisation Act like establishment of a Railway Coach Factory in Khazipet, Steel Plant in Bayyaram or Tribal University.
