Congress takes dig at Samajwadi Party's move on Amar Singh

“Mulayam Singh and Amar Singh have a symbiotically syncretic and simultaneously scintillating relationshipâ€, says Congress.

New Delhi: Mulayam Singh Yadav and Amar Singh have a “symbiotically syncretic and simultaneously scintillating relationship,” Congress said ON Tuesday taking a dig at the SP chief’s decision to appoint Singh as National General Secretary of the party.

Party spokesman Manish Tewari made the remark while making it clear at the outset that whomsoever the Samajwadi Party appoints to any position is the internal matter of the party. “Mulayam Singh and Amar Singh have a symbiotically syncretic and simultaneously scintillating relationship”, he said.

Once the public face of the party, Amar was seen as Mulayam's closest aide when he had the ear of “Netaji”. However, Amar Singh along with his close associate Jaya Prada were expelled from the Samajwadi Party in February, 2010.
