TTD chief blasts Naidu: \"Empty promises vs. Year-round care for poor\"

Tirupati: In a fiery public address, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman and local MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy tore into TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, branding him an "unreliable leader" who "deceives the poor with empty election-time promises."

Reddy urged voters to "abandon Naidu's last-minute schemes" and contrast them with the "year-round efforts" of CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, who he praised as the "only CM in India prioritising the poor" through welfare programs.

Naidu allocated Rs. 40 crore for Tirupati's poor in 5 years wheil Jagan earmarked Rs. 1,700 crore for poverty upliftment, he said.

"Naidu and Pawan Kalyan can't stomach Jagan's popularity," accused Reddy, dismissing their criticism as "sour grapes" from envious opposition leaders. He asked the crowd, "Will you choose a leader like Jagan who stands with the poor, or opportunists like Naidu and Pawan who side with the rich?"

Reddy further charged that Naidu, despite a lower budget, "miserably failed" to deliver on welfare initiatives currently thriving under the YSRC. He slammed Naidu's approach as "exploitation, hoarding, and consumption," aided by Pawan Kalyan and a "media faction."
