Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) authorities on Tuesday destroyed internal roads and survey stones of two unauthorised real estate layouts in Nuzvidu of Eluru district.
Authorities used JCBs and excavators to uproot water pipelines in these ventures, besides destroying the drainage system and roads.
APCRDA commissioner Vivek Yadav warned real estate people that selling plots without obtaining permission from APCRDA is a crime liable for punishment. Yadav asked the general public to be wary about buying plots in case they turn out to be unauthorised.
The commissioner asked people who purchase plots in unauthorised layouts not to start any construction. He underlined that no permission will be given to start construction in unauthorised layouts.
