BJP tries to spread false propaganda: CPM district secretary P Rajeev

Kochi: The BJP and Sangh Parivar outfits are trying to disrupt peace in the district by launching a systematic false propaganda in connection with the unfortunate incident of the suicide attempt by a girl student in RLV College, said CPM district secretary P Rajeev. In a statement on Wednesday, Rajeev urged the people to remain vigilant about attempts by the BJP to create communal polarization by resorting to systematic false propaganda.

“The BJP is spreading a falsehood that the girl who tried to commit suicide was a former SFI activist. The girl has been an activist of the ABVP from the beginning and the SFI would welcome any sort of probe into the incident. “The forces that have imprisoned JNU Students union leader through false propaganda are resorting to a similar strategy in Kerala too”, Mr. Rajeev said.
