BJP, YSRC want to show ap as corrupt, says Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy

The minister said that BJP ruled states top the corruption list with UP state in the first place followed by Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.

NELLORE: Alleging that BJP and YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy have been trying to project Andhra Pradesh as the most corrupt state, with an intention to divert investments coming to AP to Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh agriculture minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy said that Andhra Pradesh is one among the three states with least corruption, as per a recent survey of Transparency International.

Speaking to mediapersons at Mittapalem in Muthukuru mandal of SPSR Nellore district on Monday, the minister said that BJP ruled states top the corruption list with UP state in the first place followed by Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.

He alleged that YSR’s government stood first in corruption in the survey of CMS in 2008. He added that there is no trace of 14 lakh permanent houses built during the Congress regime.

Mr Chandramohan Reddy said Jagan has to explain reasons for the cases against him and regarding ED attaching his properties.
